Who are Ansar?

Our history and our future

Ansar is a law firm, established in 2015 by Usman Sheikh. Since then, the aim has been simple: to help migrants with high quality legal advice at a fair price.

We have helped many migrants. We have helped them to come to the UK, to stay in the UK or to become British citizens. We have helped them with all stages of the process, including applications, appeals and Judicial Reviews. And we have helped them with simple situations and with complicated ones.

Usman Sheikh

Usman qualified as a solicitor in 2007. He has been helping migrants since then, with issues of immigration, asylum, deportation, detention, nationality and extradition.

Usman trained as a solicitor at Linklaters. He has an LLM with Distinction in International Law from the University of London (SOAS). He also has an MA and a BA from the University of Cambridge (Trinity College). He attended St. Paul’s School. He speaks English, French, Italian, Russian and Urdu. He has written many articles on immigration law.
